He graduated in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. He his a research fellow at the National Research Council of Italy, Institute of Polar Sciences. His current position is data manager and system administrator of the National Antarctic Data Center of Italy (NADC) and the Italian Arctic Data Center (IADC). He his involved into the development of software solutions for the IADC, NADC, ARICE (Arctic Research Icebreaker Consortium) and Beyond EPICA projects. Thanks to his experience in data management, he helps researchers publishing and sharing their data, making them compatible with modern standards and adherent to the principles of FAIR data and Open Science. In 2021, he won the SCADM (Standing Committee on Antarctic Data Management) prize for his work presented at Polar Data Forum IV.
