Porcino Nunziatina

Porcino Nunziatina She got her degree in Chemistry in 2004 and her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences in 2008 at the University of Messina. She is researcher at National Research Council (CNR) since 2011. Until 2017, she focused her research on the synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals labeled with 11C, 18F, 64Cu, and 110In in accordance with NBP and GMP standards. In 2012, she collaborated on the development of new tracers at the UMCG-University Medical Center Groningen (The Netherlands). Since 2017, her main interests is the chemistry and issues related to microplastics in polar environments. She is author of 18 international peer-reviewed publications, including journal articles, reviews and a book. She participated in scientific expeditions on oceanographic vessels in Mediterranean Sea and in North Sea.
