31 Luglio 2023

How does a marine geochemist work? Paolo Montagna of the CNR-ISP and Julie Trotter and Malcolm McCulloch from the University of Western Australia tell how the geochemical signals of the corals are converted into environmental information for past climate reconstructions. It is a small trip especially for students to understand the importance of the Southern Ocean in modulating the global climate and to discover the secrets of geochemical proxies.
