Geologist, graduate in Earth Sciences with specialization in micropaleontology, professional snowpack observer and a PhD student in Polar Sciences at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. His doctoral project focuses on the study of mineral dust present in the snowpack and ice cores with a field of action that ranges from Svalbard to Antarctica passing through the Alps. Avalanche educator for the Italian Avalanche Service, he later became an international professional member of the American Avalanche Association.
Since October 2021 he has been the technician of the EuroCold laboratory at the Department of Environmental and Earth Sciences (DISAT) of the Milano Bicocca University and deals with the analysis of ice cores and snow samples, as well as all the logistical and operational part of the laboratory. He has participated in numerous sampling campaigns both in the Alps and in Svalbard.
