The Italian scientific community involved in polar regions and extreme environments will gather from October 5 to 7 in Rome, at the CNR headquarters, for "Poles of Knowledge: From Extreme Lands to Global Challenges" the first national event dedicated to the Arctic, Antarctica, and the Third Pole. The initiative is promoted and coordinated by CNR in collaboration with ENEA, INGV, and OGS. The event will culminate in a White Paper setting future strategies for polar research, covering climate change studies, environmental transformations, and emerging geopolitical dynamics. - COMUNICATO STAMPA
